"I just looked it up, 0.3 mm wire is approx. 28 AWG. The smallest I've workd with was 24 AWG whici is around 0.5 mm and all I made was a JPL chain from 1.75 mm ID rings. My eyes were blurry for days afterward. This guy ROCKS!"

"Thanks Christie, I was able toget my first one together this morning with an AR of 5.3 but, as you said, I couldn't get the last ring on the end of the crossbar. I tried a second one with slightly larger rings (AR 5.45) and it went together…"

"I just made a couple and 5.5 works perfectly.  Anything lower and you're not going to be able to get the second ring through.  Anything higher and it'll be a little loosy goosy.  I used 20g, 5/32" AA."
